At VitaEar Clinic, we understand that attending a clinic appointment isn’t always possible for everyone. That’s why we offer Home Visit appointments, bringing our expert ear care directly to you in the comfort of your own home.
Our Home Visiting Service covers a wide area across the entire Wigan Borough, parts of West Lancashire, and Chorley (including Coppull) — making our home visit service accessible to many local residents.
Our friendly and professional team can arrange a home visit for clients who may find it difficult to attend our clinics. This service is perfect for individuals with:
- Mobility challenges
- Mental health conditions
- Learning needs
- Work or personal commitments that make clinic visits difficult
Pricing
The cost for a home visit remains the same as our in-clinic procedures
- Consultation – £20
- Ear wax removal (including a consultation) – £60
- Travel charge – May apply depending on your location

Preparing for Your Appointment
- Olive oil drops or spray: Please use olive oil ear drops or spray in both ears 2–3 times a day for up to 5 days before your appointment. This softens the wax and gives the best possible chance of successful removal on the day.
- Consent form: If you provide a mobile number when booking, we will send your consent form in advance via text message. Please complete it before your appointment. If you need help completing it, your nurse will assist you on the day.
- Arrival time: While not applicable for home visits in the usual sense, please be ready at your scheduled appointment time to ensure a smooth and efficient visit from our team.
